Captain Planet Speaks Out amid 4×4 Split Rumors- “We’re Still Together as A group”


One of Ghana’s long standing music group 4×4 has been in the spotlight pretty much in recent times.

The group – consisting Captain Planet, Fresh prince and Coded who recently got involved in near fatal car crash, have been plagued with rumors of fallouts and bust-ups since some members of the group started letting out solo projects.

Thankfully, the trio have put the rumors to bed to assure they will be cracking the charts as swiftly as possible, one thing synonymous with the legendary group.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Captain Planet told Sky FM’s Ike Frimpong in an interview that the group is still together as one big family, and are working on new records to prove people wrong.


“Oh yes, we’re still together as a group, just that were releasing solo projects just to keep the group and brand alive, and also very relevant. I believe that’s one the reasons why people think we’re no longer together as a group. Very soon, you will hear a project from the whole 4×4 group. We have timing and planning, we’re planning forward, we just don’t wake up and do it. We’re the element of surprise, we always keep you in suspense, so wait and see.” He affirmed

Captain Planet went ahead to denounce any reports that suggested he described his fellow members as ‘Lazy’ thus his decision to exit the group.

He added that it’s polite to question the persons involved to find out the real truth than to pick up anything on the blogs.

The leader of the group however refrained from passing any comment about the ongoing bribery allegations hovering around the most prestigious awards scheme in the country, VGMAs.

“I have I haven’t heard of any such allegations, and I have never paid for any award, so these issues wouldn’t affect me or the brand 4×4 in any manner.” He added
