M.anifest Discloses Plans for 2017

Award-winning Ghanaian rapper and songwriter M.anifest has reviewed the year which many may describe as the most eventful in his entire career, the year 2016.

The godMc was speaking in an interview on Sunyani’s Sky FM with Ike Frimpong on Saturday, January 7 2017. He expressed that 2016 was when he did the hardest work which delivered laurels to him as an artist.

“I hope that every year in music I do, I have a bigger and bigger year. I would agree with that because I released my best Album I have ever done, “Nowherecool” in 2016. It’s an accumulation though, it’s the work that has accumulated over the years.”

According to him, Releasing Nowherecool was his professional highlight because it’s an album he had worked on for a while. When it came out, he was excited, relieved and knew that people will receive it well and he was excited for them to understand the kind of musician he is.

M.anifest also looked at his annual ‘Manifestive’ concert Which happened in December last year. He stated that they had some challenges that night and started a little later than they had wanted to. To him, they do such shows for the hard core ones who have supported them throughout the year.

He also implored fans to be on the lookout for more songs this year as compared to last year, which will allow him to compete with likes of Shatta wale who releases songs almost every day.

“2017 definitely we’re going to be pushing out a lot of videos, we’re setting visual content, more music videos than last year. And I’m going to start competing with Shatta wale for who will be releasing more songs. I’m definitely going to release more songs this year.”

The ‘100 percent’ star further explained that he would collaborate with him if the opportunity presents itself.

‘I like what he does and I think  he’s the realest musician. So there’s always a possibility’
