NBC In Nigeria Banned Davido’s Fall ,IF & Others And this is Wizkid’s Reaction

On Tuesday August 22, news broke out that the Federal Government of Nigeria via the National Broadcasting Corporation, has moved beyond talk to ban some hit tunes, Wavy Level & Wo by  Olamide; FALL and IF by DMW boss, Davido and also Living Things by 9ice.

This comes in a few days after the Federal Ministry of Health had openly aired it displeasure regarding visuals to Wo.

In its own opinion, the video portrays a bad message that encourages second-hand smoking.

Safe and unharmed Afro beats star from Nigeria in person of Wizkid, who has recently had a long- standing dispute decided to speak on this. Clearly troubled by the state of affairs in his country, he tweeted;

“God help us” “Goverment for my country na joke”

Other reports indicates that, NMC is yet to explain exactly why the songs have been banned but believes it either has to do with the videos or content of the song.

Apparently, we would not be hearing these hit tunes on our air waves again.
