Stonebwoy has officially come out to shut down rumours being mastered by Shatta Wale concerning his involvement in the Fourth Season of Coke Studio Africa.

Shatta Wale a few weeks ago alleged that Ghanaian artistes selected for the coke studio Africa season 4 were paid an undersized amount of $4,000 for the deal.

Recounting what actually transpired in a recent interview with Joy News, Stonebwoy refuted all those claims stating that Shatta is in a way defaming Coke Studio.

“You cannot say anything anyhow to discredit others just to credit yourself.Nobody knows the contractual agreement that went on between us and Coca Cola apart from the two parties because we have a non disclosure clause in the contract where you keep it to yourself,” he said.

Stonebwoy refused to disclose the exact amount acquired from the deal but affirmed that it was bigger than the figure quoted by Shatta Wale.

“He doesn’t know what went on amongst the names of those who were paid a certain amount, no he doesn’t. He should shut up about it and concentrate on his and defend himself with all whatever he wants to.”

When asked if he feels this was a plot to pull him down after all the success he’s amassed, Stonebwoy responded saying;

“Definitely, i don’t have to hide it, everyone knows what’s going on in Ghana now. I’m long gone over that one and we [are] doing different different things so I can’t be bothered but I can only clear the air and make the facts known.”

The Dancehall act also spoke about his acquaintance with Trey Songz and other Coke Studio artistes including Yemi Alade who had a lot to say about his BET win.
